DIONYSIA (Die-Oh-Knee-See-Ya): A drunken righteous party thrown in the honor of the Greek God Dionyses, the God of music, wine, and mischief. These enormous celebrations lasted weeks at a time and consisted of the mass consumption of wines and fine foods, theatrical presentations, music and mad frenzied orgies.  

Dionysia was formed early in the year 2000 in a dingy basement studio. It all happened when four friends/musicians came together to create a refreshing new blend of music. A blend of music that's not only extraordinarilly composed and executed, but stretches the boundaries of music as we know them today. They are sculpting music by blending all the different styles of music that inspire them into a brand new style all its own. Creating music that is truly unique and most definitely cutting edge, the band has established a large following wherever they go. Tim Casteel, Aaron Burlbaw, Todd Ray and Paul Quinn are those four friends and this is their creation!

Since Dionysia incorporates so many wonderful styles of music, such as Rock, Latin, Funk, Reggae, Blues, Jazz, and Classical, their following is not only very large but also incredibly diverse from a demographics standpoint. From ages fifteen to fifty, you'll find them all on the Dionysia band wagon.

To date, Dionysia has released four CDs ("Another 2 Weeks", "Live at Miss Molly's" "Live at Mississippi Nights" and "Music, Wine & Mischief"), all of which are entirely original material . Also Dionysia has released a one hour DVD "Behind the Music, Wine & Mischief."
