Their sound is a vivacious medley of blues, rock and funk overtones with a dynamic blend of contemporary influence that pays homage to the music that they were raised on and the world that continues to drive their creative passions. With musical influences ranging from Led Zeppelin to the Red Hot Chili Peppers and everything in-between, these gentlemen are sure to grab your attention when they take the stage. Currently promoting the release of their new EP, The Breach, Dionysia aims to continue playing their authentic and original high-octane music while delving deeper into the creation of their own unique sound.
Garrett Brown is your next favorite frontman (if he isn't already), packing a powerful voice over hypnotic guitar riffs. He graduated from Wentworth Institute of Technology (WIT) in 2017 with a a B.S. in Industrial Design.
Alex Myers brings the energy both on and off the stage, laying down the rhythm on drums to get you on your feet. He graduated from WIT in 2017 with a B.S. in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.
Julien Vandal is a true music addict, bringing saxophone, piano, synths, Hammond B3 and vocals to the stage. He graduated from the University of Guelph in 2017 with a B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering.
Josh Weirs is the newest addition to the team, locking in the bass with strong ideas and a heavy groove. He graduated from WIT in 2017 with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.
